I’ve been mad quiet during this time of #recalibration. That’s what I believe is happening. . George Carlin has this joke that goes “The planet is fine. The people are fucked...The planet isn’t going anywhere. WE ARE...The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas...The planet probably sees us as a mild threat...I’m sure the planet will defend itself. What would you do if you were the planet to deal with this pesky, troublesome species. Let see...VIRUSES! Viruses might be good. They seem vulnerable to viruses...perhaps this first virus an be one that compromises the immune system of these creatures. Perhaps an immunodeficiency virus making them vulnerable to all other types of diseases and infections.” . I think a lot about this joke a lot. #climatechange and the effect we have on this planet. It kinda boils down to we are not trying to save the planet, WE SHOULD BE TRYING TO SAVE OURSELVES. . We see what is essential and what is not. WHO is “essential” and who is not. All manner of questions are being rightfully asked and examined. . I’m here for it all.
