Now that it's been a full month of me struggling desperately with waxing and waning symptoms of cough, congestion, sore throat, total exhaustion, and brain fog, and it's still not COVID (although I suspect that since I've had it 3 times my immune system is screwed up)--anyway today I'm doing a total purge of the dorm room to try to somehow fix what's going on.
-roommate and I agreed to stop using her diffuser in case that's making it worse
-opening the window and the door to let the room air out (brr it's so cold)
-throwing away my beanbag (someone stored it for me in their garage last year and who knows what's happened to it)
-throwing away my rug (soooooo soft and my favorite thing, but the long pile makes it hard to vacuum so it's probably filthy)
-thoroughly vacuuming the ENTIRE room (including moving all the furniture that I physically can)
-washing the dust out of my box fan in the shower (I'll shower with it later once the room is aired out and warmed up again)
-washing all my bedding (again, later)
-just occurred to me but I probably should do new pillows too. I've had these for a disgusting amount of time and they smell Not Great.
anyway send up a prayer for me because I'm sick and tired of this.
