Heto na! About to get my hair trimmed. My hair wasn't necessarily long but I was definitely looking a bit shaggy… yung tipong feeling ko, anytime pwede na akong mag-apply bilang castaway sa beach. I’m here for that simple, expertly executed trim, ready for the final touches that will make me feel polished and presentable. Super linis na ng pakiramdam once the cleanup is done! That feeling of instant confidence is what I'm looking forward to. Hopefully, the haircut energy can combat the fact that I am SO TIRED after this whole week! 😴
Speaking of transformation, I love the vibe here sa shop na ito! It’s giving a cool, modern aesthetic. The dark gray walls provide the perfect, sophisticated backdrop, complemented by the industrial-style lighting fixture. May framed KAWS artwork pa… it adds a touch of contemporary cool, making me feel like I’m about to get a cut from a stylish curator not just a barber. It makes the entire grooming experience feel elevated, less of a chore and more of a luxury. (And yes, we’ll ignore the clipped hair on the floor. Don’t mind that little mountain of previous regrets and failed attempts at a ponytail!)
Now, the classic dilemma… I have a rest day tomorrow and my body is currently accepting bids from my bed for an all-day commitment. Should I fight this exhaustion, capitalize on this renewed energy from the trim, go to work and reward myself with a movie? Or should I fully surrender to the temptation of a whole day of absolute stillness… a boring but necessary lazy day where my biggest achievement is successfully reaching the remote control? Pahinga versus Perks. Ang hirap!
Patulong naman, guys! When you’re this exhausted, how do you perfectly balance productivity and the urge to become one with your mattress?
