I have a screenshot of a game ad I want to post but I'm half expecting it to legitimately get flagged.

*Eyes the screenshot again* yeahhhhh I'll get in trouble even though the ad gets away with a nekkid dragon lady with some really unsubtle captioning.

I mean, my photos of a Ladybug action figure were flagged. This? Haha noooo. I like to be stubborn and make points but *sometimes* self preservation kicks in.

Remember when

Tumblr flagged nearly everything as adult content? And we couldn't tell if anything had been flagged?

Well, I finally spotted the Review Flagged Posts item here on mobile. Didn't have a count next to it like Drafts and Asks so I figured there'd be nothing there.

WRONG.

The pics of our LB action fig in a tree I took a couple years back were hidden for being Adult Content.

Tumblr. Seriously?

Like, I get it. You absolutely fail at policing porn bots. They've thwarted your buggy algorithms and are still following and reblogging shady links and naughty pics in droves.

But can you AT LEAST vette the ads. Because the ONLY ones I see are skeevy imbalanced hentai romances, one literally with cum in the name, another blackmailing a woman for sex, a third with unwanted advances involving mpreg (srsly?) and, to top it all off, a stalkery harrassment one featuring a furry anthro dude named "Therianthropy." (The writers there can't even try to get the word form right for something that shouldn't be a proper name???)

I get up to 3 porn spambot followers a day since the ill conceived and much failed Cleanpocalypse. It was up to 3 a week before that. And the only ads I've seen for weeks are skeevy rapeish abuse scenario sex games. Which I can't decline or hide because there is no functional ad feedback.

I. Am. Not. Amused.

Banning adult visual works was a bad idea, and has had nearly the opposite effect of making things "cleaner."

I am REALLY not amused by the pornbot rebranding right now. I'm getting about three new followers a day, all of them pornbots with either borderline bannable images and Suspicious Links With Blatant Wording, or reblogs that have such links.

What's new is that the profiles and link wording are now all LGBT themed.

Fuck them all for making me report "LGBT Content" because of a bunch of bot army viral bastards. You're screwing things over for real LGBT people, who are already not-so-secretly being purged out by these Cleanpocalypse antics because of queerphobic sentiments and backwards moral policing (omg it must be THE BADS if it isn't cishet! Erhmahgerd THE CHILDREN)

Small Note!

Nobody on my follower list has a blurred icon. And I haven't seen any Odd Posts coming from those I follow. I'll let you know if I do.

I do have a pile of empty, uncustomized accounts that follow me but don't interact, though. So. If any of y'all with a default avi and No Title and no posts or reblogs are ACTUAL PEOPLE, please, uh, say something. Because I just might softblock those empties for safety. (Some have eventually turned into scam accounts before.)
