TL;DR- Always leave a clean studio for the next class. It's shitty if you leave a mess for the next person to clean up. Listen I know this doesn't bother a lot of people but as someone who has set a new sheet of nice paper on a dirty surface that someone else uses it not only makes everything that is set on the table dirty but it gets me dirty and the projects I work so hard on dirty. It's like.... HOW LAZY ARE YOU. I would understand if this was someone's personal desk. Like it's their space they can make it as dirty or clean as they want it but when it's a class or in a public studio please clean up after yourself. ESPECIALLY IF YOU KNOW IT CAN MESS SOMEONES WORK UP. CHARCOAL, WET PAINT, WET INK, LOOSE GRAPHITE, ANYTHING THAT STAINS PAPER, CLOTHES, SKIN YOU NEEEED TO CLEAN IT UP I'm tired of having to do this before class because I always leave the studio a clean work surface for other people to work on. This is not limited to my drawing studios. In the watercolor room-- like my desk is a mess (someone carved a dick into it as funny as that is) usually has either water still on it, it's damp, or there's sorta wet watercolor on it still. I will still clean it up because I don't want my projects to be messed up. #cleanupyourshit #brandino
