The deputy, Clearbubble, looks exactly like Flintpaw's mentor, Cloverspeck, so I made them brother and sister.

Clearbubble is older by 51 moons.

Because Clear is so much older, she is more like a secondary parent for Clover. Their dad died while their mom was pregnant with him, and their mom passed by ice accident shortly after he became an apprentice.

Clear was his mentor, and focused all her grief onto caring for him. the two have a very close bond, and remain inseperable.

What if Clear and Clover's mom actually cheated and Snailstar was secretly their real father, and that's part of why he made her deputy?
