Resource Extraction 2 @resourceextraction this is a set of photograph I took while fishing on the North Umpqua River drainage last year. I was taken by the obvious disregard for the environment on the headwaters of such an iconic river drainage. The North Umpqua River has been recognized as a Wild And Scenic river. This national distinction and status however doesn’t protect it from resource harvesting. I get and understand the politics, however, I think it’s hard to see the “commitment to forest stewardship” that some corporations exhibit. Proof is in the pudding they say.
