Did you know Japan has four seasons? Or rather, did you know that Japan switches between seasons on a dime, and out of nowhere we went from cool spring weather to Cool Biz summer weather literally in a day? So here’s my typical elementary summer work look. Light, breathable, unlikely to cause a fuss with bare shoulders...good!

This was...not the most practical outfit to wear for teaching first year elementary kids. But I had an observation lesson today so I wanted to look professional for the Board of Education visitors, and also I guess blue is my go-to color this week. The junior high kids liked this look before, though, and the elemtnary kids did, too, plus if I take off the jacket, it cools down nicely. Good for seasonal changing weather!
