clandy brainrot day #94: clem and andy go to pride

andy would be pretty hesitant at first… mainly because he doesn’t like the idea of being defined solely by his identity (that being, a gay trans man). in his head, he’s just a guy. but then you realize he’s never been to an actual pride before lmfao

clem would be really excited to take andy to his first pride!! from what ive heard scotland is very lgbt friendly, so chances are he’s been to one before (even though he was still closeted for a long time). they introduce andy to all the fun pride has to offer, see the parade, and even buy some cool merch along the way! they get a bunch of cute flags 🥰 andy is kinda overwhelmed by how extremely nice and accepting everyone is, but it’s a real happy feeling 😌

there is an official Scottish lgbtq+ tartan! i had to draw some of the gang sporting some flags in kilts to celebrate pride month!

So uh @redthornzzz and @kind-little-fella have given me non-binary Clem brainrot (or Clemby, as I’ve seen him called) so naturally I had to write a thing based off it. I wrote the transdy fic I was legally required to also do this. It’s a bit more based off my own gender shit so I hope y’all like.

he/they clem or enby lad clem is semi confirmed! in the camel with the wrinkled knees book, ann and andy look for the french doll and tell henny to stay home because he's the only man left. so does this mean clem isn't a man...? this was probably a mistake but it's a mistake i will cherish forever. probably clem and henny had a really weird time while ann and andy were away, henny trying to run things and clem crying over andy's absence constantly

i was just talking to someone about this! yea in the book clem isn't referred to as a man for whatever reason. i like to think it means clem is a he/they or maybe even gender fluid 👌

henny can't do leader stuff so i'd imagine clem and frederika would still help him "run the nursery" even though most of the work would be calming everyone down...

i don't think clem would cry if andy were absent, he has been before and been seemingly fine with it (though in canon he does get super excited when he returns). the person that wouldn't be able to work under pressure is henny, by far.

gender fluid/nonbinary clem is something i want to think about more... he has been seen wearing fem clothes before in other stories and referred to as pretty while doing so, so y'know 🤷‍♂️
