Take a moment to answer the call put out today by the California Coalition for Women Prisoners (among others) for a Twitter campaign for emergency decarceration of elders and immunocompromised folks in response to COVID-19. I’ve linked documents below with more explanation of the campaign, the context, the organizations involved, etc. But the tl;dr is right here in bold: Can you take a picture of yourself holding a sign that says "Gov. Newsom and Cuomo: #LetThemGo" and post it on Twitter today with the following tags? #ClemencyNow #LetThemGo #ClemencyCoast2Coast #COVID19 @NYGovCumo @GavinNewsom @CAGovernor And/or, can you retweet similar tweets with the same tags?
