the longer family description;

Newly arrived in Newcrest, the Clemons family is ready to make their mark.

Dontrell, once at the peak of his social life, traded his old life for a new career opportunity but he’s hoping to find some fellow dads to grill with & maybe finally launch those cooking videos he’s been dreaming about.

Maria, the heart of the household, is always focused on her kids. Making sure she never misses practice with them. New town means new beginnings so she finally went back to work as a substitute teacher again now that Kira is getting older.

Desmond sees the move as a fresh start after a rough time at his last school. He’s throwing himself back into football, determined to make his parents proud.

Amara is still figuring out her place, experiencing teenhood & living as a very shy confused kid in an very ambitious & extroverted family.

Then there’s Kira: the star of the show. She’s following in her brother’s sporty footsteps & making sure nobody forgets it.

Known for their unbeatable BBQs, fun activities & the most mouth-watering baked goods in the neighborhood, the Clemons are ready to turn Newcrest into home sweet home.
