Hey welcome to the innies, well if you really aren't new, welcome to the base then. Names Hermes or if you want Ryan, so if you need help with anything, I'm willing to help!
Well howdy there Ryan! I’m Maria or if you want Momus! (•^u^•)/” It’s good to meet you!
I’m a transfer from another base and wowie! Does your base know how to get down to business! They started me working as soon as I got here, and unfortunately before I could really acquaint myself with the place. You wouldn’t happen to know where a girl can go to get her hands on some pliers would you? Or even any type of hand held tool I’m sure I can great creative. (•^u^•)

Ryan gave the other a forced confused look, clearly knowing what the other meant “Uh? What do you mean something something? I have no idea what your talking about, all I know is the guards chat about things here and there and that’s my update.” He cringed knowing Butch was being serious, and took his chances still bracing himself for the worst.
The room was still for a nervous second before the blue Freelancer surged to action, turned and yanking the passkey from one of the armed guards to press against the console by the cell. It opened quickly, and before Hermes could blink, Butch was inside, his hand shooting out to clutch the Innie's throat.
"Always an Innie, huh?"

I can second that notion, being stuck here sucks big time. The food here is okay, just not as good as our base’s stuff, they fed me the mystery meat and I almost threw up. Least I can stomach ours.
The food here is way better. I can tell they really care about us. I hope there's mystery seafood and it turns out to be mashed up lobster and salmon.

MISSION: NYX
The SS "Stubjack" was a transport tug from a colonial world nearby, streamlined and bays filled to the brim with fresh-off-the-line weaponry and enough medical supplies to treat the wounded of an entire UNSC frigate if needed. Long and blocky, it was, with a decrepit Shaw-Fujikawa engine to boot and little in terms of defensive capabilities aside from a few light ship-to-ship guns on the keel pointing towards the prow.
After the Covenant invasion and the destruction of so many transports off of the agri-world Harvest, it was commonplace for even small vessels to have some form of self-defense. It was crewed by 10 Navy personnel, with security being deferred to Project Freelancer. Given the UNSC's limited time and resources, all of the better, more well-armed options were apparently out of the question. Most of the repairs were finishing up now save the re-calibration of the slipspace drive.
"You've made do with less, Agents." The Director told them at their briefing.
It was nice being able to work with the UNSC again, their pressed uniforms and ever-formal behavior making Butch think of his days with the Helljumpers. By their shifty eyes and distant looks, it was obvious that they weren't as comfortable with Freelancers as Butch was with them, and it could be due in part to the fact they were being dragged along to transport weapons and supplies to some paramilitary organization when their soldiers needed them. He couldn't speak for Oklahoma. The lad probably was counting down the minutes before he could come back home.
[[ OOC: I think it would work well if we used 2 separate threads, yeah? But! What if it was Oak and Aetna in their own thread and then Hermes and I?

Awh you scared that we’re starting to watch your every move basically?
You dare presume I to be frightened of a disorderly decentralized group that has done very little save for attack a less than capable agent. You are vastly erroneous and undoubtedly a fool.
