CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives. We work hard to help when each child and young person needs it most.
I know currently many of you will not be in a position to donate to charity and it may be the furthest thing on your mind. Please don’t feel pressured into giving if you are in an insecure position yourself.
At this time multiple charities have lost funding (we can’t carry out door to door fundraisers, the majority of fundraising events have been cancelled including major sporting ones, people have cancelled their regular donations) and demand for our services is going up. In the UK many charity groups are outright begging the government to help us provide these services and support our work.
Please, please, please if you, a friend, or a family member can, please consider making a small donation to a charity. This is the charity I work for, who are absolutely amazing at providing help and support (bit bias I know), but before I worked there they helped a friend when he was diagnosed and even from an outside pov they were amazing. I truly cannot express how much I love working here and how much I want to see this place continue so we can help families, and children and young people with cancer.
And even if you don’t donate to CLIC Sargent, please donate to any charity you, your friend or family member loves, we’re really struggling and trying to keep up with what is needed from us.
