Click Local : Project Report
Click Local at Collaboration Cafe - Oct 3rd 2011 Firstly thanks to the Collaboration Cafe crew for this awesome opportunity, and particularly to Seth for the hookup. Like Collaboration Cafe and Intersect, the aim of Click Local is to provide a collaborative platform for connecting people and kickstarting projects, innovation and goodness. The basic formula is to bring awesome people together in an open and collaborative environment and let stuff happen. As the 'project owner' I was treated to three rounds of meeting and engaging with three bunches of smart, creative and dynamic thinkers. Some of the people I was fortunate to be able to connect with to discuss my project included contributors who have their own successful projects, such as Matt from All Good Bananas, Guy from Inspiring Stories, and Josh from Enspiral. Over the three rounds I was able to brainstorm the why, what and how of my project. This was a great opportunity to articulate my project in an open and collaborative environment, connect with new people, and 'harvest' new ideas and knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a developing project, and like Matt, Guy and Josh, anyone who has a successful project will benefit from mixing with a bunch of stimulating and awesome people.
