He does not punish him because he is still new. But apparently Midnightdash thinks he needs harsher of a punishment? Perhaps he was testing Flamestar

It's not meant to be demeaning tho; it shows his strength cause he's learned to make it one of his strongest paws; vaguely referencing that one Wolves of the Beyond book I read in middle school tho i never got to finish the rest of the series)
