my problem with north sea texas is the resolution. i wanted pim to either have a nice boyfriend or be like you know what fuck guys none of these people have treated me right and then like end with him in the sea but gino coming back pissed me off and pim took him back way too quickly with very little explanation :/ if pim had just rolled naked in the sea and that was like the ending it would have made more sense

true though i feel like they could’ve shown Gino trying to win Pim back instead of just showing up all emotional and shit... he did too many mean things for it to just not matter anymore after a single conversation (that was barely a conversation) and i mean apparently it’s been 2-3 years since they first hooked up? So you’d think Pim would have moved on or stopped caring about Gino because this bitch been living with some girl for a couple years now and not giving a damn about Pim

and im not sure what year the movie is set in, but they’re Dutch and like The Netherlands is one of the most opened minded countries in the entire world when it comes to sexuality lol?? so I don’t see why it was SUUUUCH a big deal that they weren’t straight (i mean no one else knew besides the sister and their mom, but why did Gino feel the need to stay with a girl he didn’t actually love just because he didn’t want anyone to know he loved a boy??? Idk but i guess of course homophobia is still a thing so he was scared but IMO if I lived where they live I’d be gaying it up for real lmao)

anyway yeah I guess they just wanted to go for a ~happy ending where Gino and Pim get back together instead of introducing a random new guy and bringing on the credits. I mean for a moment I thought that was gonna happen with Zoltan but I’m glad it didn’t ‘cause Pim was just a teen and that would’ve made Zoltan a pedophile lol if the movie was longer they could’ve shown Gino and Pim’s relationship more in depth so it wouldn’t have felt ?????????? you know?
