Journal Entry One:
March 15th, 2016
I finally hit the road not too long ago with Waylon, this guy I met at the bar I work at, and it's been strange. Part of me isn't even sure why he let me come along. Seems he's just lonely. Aren't we all?
He lets me choose music which is nice. The drives have been pretty quiet other than that though. I kind of wish we talked more, but it's given me more time to write so its not the end of the world. I think he glances over to my notebook every so often, but I don't really mind. Watching the world pass by us has really opened up my writing. Something about sticking around rural Oklahoma dropped me into a writer's block. I still don't really know what I want to write, but I think it'll come to me in time. For now I just want to experience the world.
