April is the planning and prep month for our upcoming events and daily routine. #chefbigdog is down South, visiting various culinary venues to develop some new flavors and inspiration for his new Southern inspired menu. I’ve been working on new tapas items with my Austin inspired flavors and artistry. Whoopie pies will never be the same! Sweet meets heat in a couple of my new flavors.
Starting in May, we will back on the road, visiting some new and old locations, keeping our home base in Clinton and taking part in some great food truck events happening throughout the summer on the CT shoreline. Can’t wait!
On a personal note, I’m looking for a sister for my Oliver. It’s been over a year since we lost Sydney, my golden girl of 13 years. Dang cancer. Oliver was at daycare this week a couple days and finally settled in playing (he’s been funny about daycare-not quite getting the play factor!). Of course, he did migrate to a couple of golden retrievers. They must have reminded him of his sister. I’ll keep you posted on any puppy news.
