can we talk about boss/shaundi/johnny

we can, though I ship the three of them more platonically, because boss/shaundi/shaundi would be my ot3, because I like the sibling-like relationship Johnny has with them. I just really like the protective big brother aspect to Johnny, I like that he's psychotic & aggressive but gentle & protective when they need him.

annabell would be another pilot who becomes a part of kelly and pollys jaeger team after her drift partner leaves/dies (maybe it would be roxy?? idk) and they fight with three arms like the wei triplets

I am totally down with Roxy being Annabelle's partner and, true to form, Roxy leaves (because Roxy in any universe is a Roxy who can't remain in one place for long).  And Annabelle is too valuable a pilot to waste, so the girls steal they start to test her for Drift compatibility, and to everyone's shock she actually matches with Polly and Kelly, which... everyone has spent so long thinking of Kelly and Polly as a permanent duo that no one ever considered making them a trio, because nobody else is compatible with BOTH of them, and they won't pilot without each other.  So, much like the Posh-Tottys, they become another trio team.

So, okay, in 2024, when all the Jaegers are falling and the kaiju are coming harder, faster, smarter, and stronger, Striker Eureka is working on taking down a kaiju on its own when SUDDENLY a new jaeger appears.  It's black and hot pink and has weapons galore, is faster than even Striker Eureka, and it takes out this kaiju beastie with seemingly very little effort.  And they're in awe, and stunned, and they ask the new Jaeger to come back to the Shatterdome so they can meet the pilots.

And they are so fucking stunned when these two school ages girls step out and ask if they liked "Anarchy Defender," the Jaeger they built out of scrap parts.

Anarchy Defender is the Jaeger that the St. Trinian's girls built when they decided it was time to wrap up the war.  It's hot pink and black in order to appease both the Emos and the Posh-Totties (and the Rude Girls happen to like that colour combo anyway, and the Geeks don't care about colour just efficiency, and the Ecos just want that thing to run cleanly), and it is fucking terrifying.

Her main pilots are Kelly and Polly.  Kelly is the image of the swaggering, arrogant Jaeger pilot- except that she avoids the paparazzi like they're the plague, and she spends most of her free time working on Anarchy Defender, and really, after people get to know her after a while, they realize the only thing arrogant about Kelly Jones is the way she walks and the way she smiles, and it's a carefully constructed facade that most people don't even question. 

Polly is her near silent partner, and most people think she's a scientist when they meet her- until she takes them down in four swift, disciplined moves in the Kwoon room.

What's unique about the St. Trinian's team is that, while Polly and Kelly are Anarchy Defender's primary pilots, they maintain an entire pool of Drift compatible teams.  Andrea and Taylor are a piloting team (to their dismay), and Peaches, Chelsea, and Chloe are a team (Anarchy Defender has the option of adding a third pilot, similar to Crimson Typhoon), and Harriet and Bianca are a team.  Even more unique about St Trinian's is that they don't simply remain with a single piloting partner.  There are multiple Drift compatible people, with the same Drift strength.  For instance, Polly usually pairs with Kelly, but she also pairs with Celia, Harriet, Peaches, and Chelsea on a fairly regular basis. Because of course St Trinian's girls know empathy!  Of course they can connect on a variety of levels!  That's what St Trinian's is all about.

They're all crosstrained, too, in science and engineering and tech, because they're basically their own Shatterdome.

Look, I'm just sayin', St Trinian's girls would kick some kaiju ass.

EEEEE, YES!!!  I'm so glad you got to see it!  I love my two goober scientists!  So much!  And Mako is the bestest person ever, and Tendo has exquisite taste in fashion, and Pentacost is a god among men that I would follow to the ends of the earth- HOW IS THIS MOVIE SO GOOOOOD?  (Newt's tattoooooos!  I have so many lengthy, ridiculous thoughts about Newt tattooing kaiju all over his body.  So, so many.)
