Trope trope for jun please!

For every “Trope” I get, I will post a TV trope for my muse.

Pals with Jesus

In the setting Jun is from, powerful and fantastical creatures aren’t quite as hidden away as they are in usual fantasy settings. But the fact that she literally tracked down the ki-rin that became her patron is still quite a feat.

Distinguished Gentleman’s Pipe

The lady version of this. She carries a bamboo kiseru with her at all times, though that’s mostly due to the fact that it doubles as her arcane focus. It’s also home to her familiar, Yoko. Such a versatile tool!

The rain outside pounded away without a care for those who may have been caught up in the storm. The grey clouds had been gathering overhead for the better part of the day and Jun had hoped she’d be able to make it to shelter before the inevitable downpour began. 

She had no such luck and had to travel another fifteen minutes before she caught sight of town and located a tavern. Unsurprisingly, the place was fairly packed with others who’d wanted to get out of the rain and wait it out. Jun scanned the room for a place to sit. A table a little ways in seemed to only have one patron occupying it, and so she made her way towards it.

Taking her straw hat off, which had done little to keep the water off of her, she placed her free hand on the back of one of the empty chairs. “Pardon me, but are these seats still open?”
