It had been a while since the whole fiasco with the other Ancients had happened, and as much as Danny had wanted to confront Clockwork with some of what he had learned, given the injuries that the older ghost had taken, and the fact that they needed to put out a few fires related to Clockwork’s ‘disappearance’, Danny had decided it was better to let the Time Ghost rest.
But eventually it got to the point where Danny felt more like he was avoiding Clockwork, rather than letting him rest, and he knew he’d have to face him sooner or later. Gathering his nerve, he made his way out to the Clocktower, peering past the main doorway that lead to the viewing chamber, feeling oddly self-conscious about being there, something he hadn’t felt in a while.
“Clockwork? You there?”
