Big Horse, Tiny Link

My horse obsession in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues because THERE ARE GIANT HORSES.

That’s not a baby horse. That’s a regular horse AND A GIANT HORSE.

LOOK HOW TINY LINK IS ON IT.

I named it Calamity for obvious color reasons and it is my biggest of babies and I will love it forever and ever... though half sure it will betray me and kill me some day with that coloring.

Dice! Shiny shiny dice. Sadly only one set is mine (the set with the brass alligator) and the bottom is it in my collection. I might have a bit of a color scheme going on. The rest are all presents and gorgeous. My set is the least pretty u_u.

All the new sets are Chessex. In order (L - R, T -B): borealis royal purple chx26467, borealis light green chx27425, frosted smoke chxle431, frosted pink chx27464, cirrus aqua blue chx27465, scarab jade chx27415.

I always forget how draining DMing is. I shouldn’t, it’s the same sort of drain I have when I put my all into a lecture, but yet I forget how wilted I am left.

Good luck! I find what works for me it to come up with a cast of NPCs with strong motivations that, even if the players don't take the plot bait, will keep doing stuff in the background that will create more plot.

I may have jumped in head first so they’re a bit in the wilderness right now, which is alright, but it feels like too often I’m like SHIT things I forgot to plan for! Ahh new DM issues. Thank you though, I’ll certainly keep that in mind come the first real town!

Tonight though, tonight we had our first player death! D:

Well, the main problem is that my players can do anything while proving already that they’re the type who might just do that anything. And I cannot plan for all the eventualities and am not knowledgeable enough yet to just role with anything so I am trying to plan for the major paths and not panic about the rest.

That may not be going so well.

Ahahahahaaaaaa... I'm DMing a D&D game today and I am soooo not ready!

Done with SEVEN HOURS of running a D&D session with six people, an owl, and now apparently a shrub puppy! Good times but I am absolutely exhausted and brain dead. When things went off the rails about hour six I did not know if I would make it through the night but the game prevailed!

I’ll post some of my art tomorrow and if anyone wants it, a little sum of of the tale.

So I gave Fallout Shelter a try. A rated day later I ended with an A, 96% happiness, 33 dwellers (and about 6 babies on the way). I had guns for almost all of my males and outfits for half of them and full up on both packs. I only once at the start ever tan out of a supply and raiders die within the vault entrance. I've given it a day and.... I'm bored. I get why people find it addicting- it is well set up to be so with how expertly they staggered times to make you need to be almost constantly playing it yet having nothing to do. Since little sprites lives are dependent on you there's that level of "got to make sure no one dies in the wasteland!" itch. I haven't uninstalled yet even though I'm about to and I still have that itch. They made a highly addicting game but... it's boring in the end. I will say though that I love the art style of the rooms. The 3D parallax in the 2D cut through is lovely and enchanting. Of anything were to keep me going it would be wanting to see all the room types though all the upgrades. Sadly, I don't think that is enough. If you are enjoying it may all your expeditions be fruitful and you dwellers happy, but for my two cents, I'm out.
