On cliffs and horses...
So I’m playing Skyrim and since discovering ‘fast travel’ actually takes longer to go from A to B than it does me travelling manually, I ride everywhere. (Which makes Solstheim really annoying to traverse, but eh).
Another remix from Aether, this time of Ginungagap’s Boss Battle theme~.
Okay but what about an AU where there is no malady and instead the Forest Folk (EVENTUALLY) become friends with humans ala IV's Vessels and a Cruella teaches Dark Hunters a skill or there's an intense rivalry between the two until plot happens or you have Diabolix or Forest Soldiers randomly turning up to the guild hall wanting to join a guild? And flustered guildmaster because even DHunters wear (not enough) clothes)
Or some decide to pack their things and leave the labyrinth and end up in armoroad and become the first wildlings? Or a forest demon goes to (TGDO) High Lagaard and confuses the heck out of the bird people? Or a pixie moving into the Misty Ravine and tricking hollows into thinking it's a vessel??
Okay, but what if the whole 'Fafnir' thing is just the protag's class' burst skill?
Since it's EOII and all.

Update: I have since seen the gameplay trailer from that Nintendo Direct.
I've come to the conclusion 7th Dragon is the result of a one-night stand between Etrian Odyssey and Final Fantasy.
I mean the guild concepts, combat and the skill dynamics all scream EO (and for good reason, given the staff), but otherwise the plot and the general structure of the overworld feel more inline with something out of FF.
7th Dragon is still an interesting game, though now that I'm getting into it I find I'm disagreeing with how it was marketed in the EO tag. Ah well.
Now that I know how "Iwaoropenelep" (Eee-wah-ore-oh-pen-el-lep) is pronounced, it keeps getting stuck in my head.
Also:
- Ig-dra-zil
- Ta-la-ta-ca
- Core-oh-ta-rarn-gool
On the bright side, Iwaoropenelep is rapidly becoming my new favourite word. Hehe
