Clotaire Belrose- Son of Prince Adam/Beast and Belle Garrett Hedlund
Age: 18
Appearance: Clotaire is the son of Prince Adam/Beast and Belle. As far as appearance goes he has light brown hair (resembling his mothers) and his fathers deep blue eyes. He is tall for his age about 6 ft 1 and has a rather lanky and slender build. His hair is usually styled very messy giving it a disheveled look. He usually chooses very simple yet high quality and stylish clothing to wear however he always appears as if he had just awoke from a very long sleep, being his clothes are commonly wrinkled and not tailored properly.
Personality/Backstory: Clotaire enjoys reading perhaps even more than his mother and commonly goes days or hours without eating or sleeping just to finish a good book he is so engrossed in. However he does not like to pay attention to his studies making him not the best or disciplined student. Clotaire has a habit of smoking pipes and or cigars, and very much enjoys drinking. When he is not reading he can be seen caring for or riding the royal horses or simply interacting with the village residents not too far away from his fathers castle. He is very friendly and easy to talk to though he has a tendency to exhibit some risky behavior. Clotaire also has some difficulty focusing on one thing at a time, making him an easily distracted person.
Clotaire’s relationship with his father Adam is very tense being he can’t seem to do what he is told, and is constantly forgetting about his responsibilities which angers Adam. He realizes his careless and distracted behavior has gotten out of hand at one point so, Clotaire decides to join the army eventually just so he can be taught discipline and what it takes to be a functioning adult. He also does this as a means to make his parents proud of him, especially his father Adam. However Clotaire and his mother get along perfectly and share a very special bond as both best friends and parent to child, they are very much a like in some ways. Though Adam has never told his son the true story of how he and Belle had met Clotaire has read Beauty and the Beast dozens of times and finds it to be one of his favorites. Clotaire has even inherited hyper senses such as smell, hearing, and quickness like that of an animal or beast which was carried from Adam to him from the time he was cursed.
