Yapping about their personalities, close ups and art of Ikad below cut. Yes I am ashamed of the fact I did not fully render but shhhh. I am impatient af, which is not a good trait for an artist but oh well. Also wow I managed to draw a bald clone. Crazy
Ikad with his hair loose ❤️ anyway about their personalities below 👇
Cerar:
Cerar is the sergeant of Hellfighter Squad, and for good reason. During his training on Kamino, he scored the highest amongst his batchmates, and had a knack for empathizing and uplifting his brothers. Naturally, he is extremely protective of his vode — sometimes overbearingly so — and tends to forget they can handle things themselves too (maybe this habit comes from the deep-rooted feeling he has no one to lean on?). He rarely ever initiates fights on their behalf, but he’ll always stand up for his squad. Although in public he’s more distant and stoic, in private, he’s super affectionate of his squadmates, always making sure to let them know how proud he is of them! In fact, he established the rule of having cuddle piles three times a week. Although Cerar is the sergeant he isn’t the most patient and swings between being patient and being easily angered.
However, he can sometimes be over-controlling. He gets upset easily when things get way out of control (even if he conceals his stress; When he gets angry he doesn’t lash out. Instead his voice goes low and way too controlled. That’s how everyone knows they fucked up).
Cerar is also a “clean freak.” His trainer may have been organized, but he certainly wasn’t as meticulous as Cerar. If there’s even a spot on his squadmates’ gear, Cerar WILL make sure they never hear the end of it. He drilled cleanliness into his squad like a nail being drilled into the wall.
He also can’t help but get a little bit jealous when a vod relies on someone else other than him. He kind of takes it personally when they push him away when he offers support/goes first to another person, and he spirals a bit, wondering if he did something wrong or if he isn’t good enough anymore. Even though he can feel emotions pretty intensely, he very much practices stoic repression for his most prominent feelings.
Cerar isn’t that fond of Kamino. Especially since, because of his green eyes, his trainer was harder on him to avoid the Kaminoans recycling him. He gets very queasy and anxious when Kamino is brought up, so the squad has learned to avoid talking about it much.
Shonar:
A bit of an attention-seeker who's in love with his explosives, Shonar is the demolition expert and resident slicer. He is the most emotionally open, and also the most patient of his squad, dubbed “the jokester.” He’s very friendly, outgoing, and charming. But beneath his relaxed and easy-going attitude, he’s a whirlwind of doubt and worry — mostly about his relationships. When senses his loved one is upset at him/ignoring him, and when he feels like they’re pulling away, he will whine and cry and complain and sulk. He’ll become like that video of a pregnant fox screaming at her partner. When he’s feeling panicky or down, he usually approaches Cerar first, since the sergeant has a rather gentle approach to comforting.
During the times he's back to his easy going demeanor, he’s more subtle about his attention seeking…. Except to his squad. Growing up with him they know all his subtleties and can read him like an open book. Him shuffling a bit closer to someone or throwing an arm over their shoulder may seem like nothing to a stranger, but to his squad? They know it’s their cue to give him some love like a nice head pat/ruffle or a quick cheek kiss.
Saviin:
The medic. Saviin is the most private and quiet of the squad, but that doesn’t mean he can’t take jokes. Although Saviin is silent most of the time, he has a knack for wit… probably because he spends too much time with Ikad.
Saviin is quick to become frustrated — especially when things aren’t going as planned. But true anger is rare for him, and only provoked when injustice ensues. When he does get angry, he’s not someone you want to mess with. He’s caused a lot of brawls standing up for his batchmates…
Like Cerar, Saviin is emotionally in tune with his batchmates and is always making sure they're okay (and unlike Cerar, Saviin does this more through actions than questions).
Although Saviin is proficient in medical care, he’s also quite skilled with knives and learned how to throw them from Cerar. You can usually find him flipping his vibroblade or practicing his aim during off-hours.
When Cerar needs comfort, Saviin is the first person he approaches. The two seem to have a deep understanding of each other.
Ikad:
The sassiest of the squad, Ikad always had the sniper’s eye. He’s the most perceptive of his batchmates and has the easiest time reading people, which comes in handy when interacting with natborns or higher ups. Saviin got his wit from Ikad, although the sniper is much more sarcastic and sassy than him.
Ikad can be quick to anger. He also has a habit of starting fights with other squads if his batchmates are insulted, and usually pitches in with Saviin.
Ikad is extremely careful with his composure (except his anger lmfao) and only lets himself be vulnerable with his squad.
Ikad thinks he’s nonchalant but he’s not. He’s very fond of his squad and it SHOWS. Especially with Shonar; he always watches his tone with the demo expert, and it also doesn’t help that Ikad is a smug little shit. He smirks too much.
also they’re part of the 324th because I can’t bear to keep my blorbos apart. I’m a coward. Have a great day everyone
