Clone trooper tutorial: From basic shape to simple lines armor. For beginner/intermediate (no helmet)
Noct: Hello folks! I've notice that a lot of people feel like drawing clone armor is a bit intimidating and I get ya. There is a lots lot of lines, shapes are bulky and there is plenty details. Here a tutorial, step by step to help you understand the logics behind and make is less overwelming. I also include basic shape construction because not everyone are familiar with that process. Once you can draw the basic shape, it help a lot to simplify how to make the character move and create dynamic poses. The descriptions in the tutorial will help to get your landmarks so you can play with it.
I tried to make it simple with casual strokes to show you it can be achieve without spending 3 hours on each step.
