“Closed Since 1918 Factory To Reopen,” Toronto Star. November 4, 1931. Page 2. ---- Montmagny, Que., Nov. 4. - Closed down since 1918, the Machine Agricole Co. factory here will begin operations again, within the next few months, manufacturing real and artificial silk goods.
M. E. Binz Co. of Midland, N.J., silk manufacturers, are now completing arrangements for taking over a part of the factory, which was last used for manufacture of munitions. Machinery will be installed during the next few weeks and the factory, the first to be established by M. E. Binz Co. in Canada, will be turning out products by January.
