"Itrapped?" His ears twitched at the familiar voice. A soft, warm melody in the ever-falling temperature. Lonelytree turned, trying to locate the direction of which it came, and once having found it - started approaching with a noticeable skip to his steps. ''Oh- I missed you! I've- gah... well, I've been interacting with visitors these weeks long.'' Lonelytree wrapped his arms around ITrapped's waist in a tight hug, his tail swishing side-to-side in contentment. ITrapped's arms were cold, but the affection in his voice was anything but. ''You informed me you'll only be out for a little bit. 3 weeks isn't a short while, dummy.''

''Ponies? they're cute. Very cute. If my memory isn't failing me.'' A warm smile crawled across his face. ''I remember when I was a kid I used to try and ride the horses and ponies near my home... but they always ran. It's a miracle they never kicked me in the gut.''

“Ah-hah... I'm a bit late on that.”

He replied awkwardly, chancing a glance to where he thought the calendar was pinned.

“Happy April Fools. Fortunately I haven't gotten pranked anytime soon—"

Lonely tree hummed, then added with an amused tone:

“Nor has there been any new April fools hacks.”

He flinched and slapped away the visitor's hand. ''Don't- don't touch me so suddenly...''

Lonelytree murmured, rubbing his hair. He wasn't so partial to out-of-the-blue touches from people he wasn't acquainted with. . . who knew of their intentions?

The deer laughed. What a... silly question? Was it not obvious from the way ice and flowers bloomed on his skin? Lonelytree tapped his temple, a smile tugging at his lips. He couldn't deny it was amusing. He didn't like talking about his predicament a ton, but he'd make a tiny exception. ''I mean... What do you think this is? It's a bit of a sore topic...''

Lonelytree hesitated. Time wasn't a particularly important concept to him. It's not like he had the eyes to see the clock tick; he could only trust the words of others. How many years had passed since he was able to see his beauty? ''Well... I lost my vision by the time I turned 28 or 29. I believe 8 years have passed since then?''

He reached to his face and started to tug at the pale petals growing on the area where his eyes should've been. A wince escaped him. ''I still remember the feeling of roots piercing my face. It isn't something worth reminiscing.'' A sigh left him, his words a bitter murmur. ''Not that anything related to my curse is.''

Hey, have you been taking care of yourself ?

"Me? Yeah, I do."

A laugh—tight and awkward left his lips. Such an odd question. He wondered if this was some sort of trick. It was a rare find in these hostile parts of Robloxia, the idea someone cared enough about another's own self-hygiene to ask directly.

"For the record, I've brushed my teeth and slept early."

He added, voice only half confident. His fingers found their way to the pale ice cutting into his skin, picking off pieces of frost.

"Though, he usually helps take care of me..."

Whats ur favorite flower

Lonelytree's ears twitched at the question, and a little smile crawled up his face. His favorite flower? Most wouldn't dare to ask about something as—at least in their heads—mundane about something like that. But it wasn't mundane to Lonelytree, unlike them he knew the importance of nature.

"I do enjoy the smell of opium poppies—Oh! Oh, Forget-Me-Nots are quite the delight as well!"

His voice was more animated now as he listed off practically a billion flowers off the top of his head. After a couple minutes, he paused, now becoming aware of himself. He sighed awkwardly, shaking his head.

"Such a shame I'm unable to see their beauty no more."

It was a bitter feeling but he'd accepted it long ago.
