The sun was just sinking over the horizon by the time she'd come to her senses, a vermilion hue spilling from over the wired fence and into the confinements of dining hall. It shrouded the entire cafeteria and leaked into any other room that might of had the windows or doors open. The lull that the reddish glow gave seemed to make everything seem a bit more melancholy then usual and an odd sense of peace passed over the entire population. Even the more hyperactive of the residents seemed strangely calm.
Chiyo moved slowly through the cafeteria, her head pounding from a recent flood of emotions she'd experienced. It'd been another exhausting day in the confines of the facility and from what she could gather, her connected partner had been feeling a bit on edge. As a result of that, she too had been feeling very anxious the entire day.
She'd been so worked up from the weird sense of frustration and confusion that it'd really done a number on her. So much that she didn't really notice where she was going before she accidentally bumped into someone--
"Ah, I'm sorry!" the young girl quickly apologized once she'd felt the impact, her hands instinctively reaching up to rub her throbbing temple. Geez, she'd never get used to this place and what it had to offer! "You're not hurt are you? I didn't mean to run into you like that."
Surely her little frame wouldn't of done damage to another, but it was still rude to not say sorry! Hopefully whomever she'd crossed paths with would be a bit more forgiving then some of the others.
