BIOGRAPHY
The Burke family had always been a strict family. They had to be, it was in their blood. The family was one of the purest-blooded families in the Wizarding World, and they intended to keep it that way. Veronica and Tobias were born in the middle of February to their darling parents. While their mother raised them and their father had gone off to work, Veronica couldn’t exactly grasp at what a healthy and normal family was.
As the twins grew up, their family shoved the importance of blood purity down their throats until they understood what was right and what was wrong. However, Veronica was a bit more hesitant about the whole motto of “purity over blood,” she wouldn’t question her father - the outcome of questioning her parents was something that she had wanted to avoid.
Veronica dreamed of having a perfect, little family with someone that she had loved and adored, but her parents had another idea of what perfection was. At least her brother had kept her sane - she could turn to him whenever she was feeling uneasy or hesitant. With a war on the way, it seemed like Veronica’s dreams of perfection weren’t going to go the way that she had wanted.
Her father had been a Death Eater before Voldemort’s fall the first time (avoiding being sent to Azkaban in the eighties), and her mother stood by him mindlessly to support it. Voldemort returning had left a very funny feeling in the blonde, and she wasn’t entirely sure if she wanted to approve of her family running back to Voldemort or making her own path. The thought of war and destruction had horrified Veronica.
With the war quickly approaching, Veronica’s parents had been preparing both her and Tobias to become the next generation of Death Eaters. Not being the best at the Dark Arts or even hurting anyone in general, Veronica would prefer to take a backseat in that sort of thing, preferring to just hide instead of fighting for something that didn’t seem worthy enough for the blonde.
