Stained
everyone has clothes with memories
that you cant throw away
because memories have stained it
from many years of wear
woven into the fabric
and they cant be washed out
but you cant wear them again
maybe because they’re stained
more likely because some memories are too painful
for everyday wear
only to be thought about in the comfort of solitude

i remember what i was wearing
the first time you kissed me
i thought i had forgotten
in the years
since that day
i wasnt thinking about you
the shirt was there and then the memories joined it
its a shame because i like that shirt
its just too stained to be worth keeping
