I am loving purging, the good stuff we have stored in the warehouses. It's a slow process, but I love that I see a dress that I love or an item that I hold dear and might still get many years out of it and I can pass it along with love to someone who will use it well. I cannot believe the smiles on the faces of the people that I am passing my personal (past treasures) to. People, please, give your good stuff away if you have not looked at it for a year or more. Don't just give away your junk. There are good people, immigrants in our country who need good, clean lightly worn clothing, furniture, shoes, school materials for their children. Lets be neighborly and kind. Whether they are from your native heritage or not, reach out to them. I have been giving things to beautiful good-hearted people who arrived here a few years back and are trying to pursue the American dream. They deserve a chance.
