I know this question is a bit obvious but I just wanna spill it out..

Are cloudysseus and cloudyseidon are the same as the real versions of themselves? Or just some random clouds with no mind zeus specifically created.. can zeus even create clouds exactly like the original person? Like having the look of the person is there but can he make the clouds have the minds of the real version?

Zeus Is very good on creating clouds that can emulate perfectly their originals. The problem Is the language. Let's say that he could create a perfectly Copy of Odysseus even in behaviour, but would be limited on what Zeus knows about him. So probably not 100% accurate, but still very similar. Cloudysseus and Cloudyseidon are not identical, they have their personality, with something from their originals that recall them in some ways. But they are different! The very Zeusish aspect they have Is that they are both enjoy phisical contact and they are flirty, a thing that basically ALL CLOUDS have. He can't help putting some Spice on them lol

Hiya! I just looked at Ganymede's art and saw how sad he was when he couldn't play the lyre because his fingers would faze through the lyre strings because he's made out of a cloud so I made a solution!

A cloud lyre! Just for him so I hope he enjoys it! Ps your art is amazing!

You can't understand what he's saying to you, but his smile is a little bitter when he recieve it. You understand that he's trying to thank you, but he tries to say something else, not clear. When he plays the cloud lyra, you see that the instrument doesn't make a sound.

Just like him.

This might be a very stupid question, but how does the clothing work with Cloudysseus and Cloudysseion? Are their clothes made of clouds too?

That’s not a silly question at all! On the contrary, it’s an interesting aspect to dive into, and I’m happy to do it!

Cloud folk aren’t sensitive to heat or cold from the atmosphere, so technically, they don’t need clothes. But they can wear them if they want to. Usually, they only have one outfit, the one Zeus created them with and it's made with clouds. Otherwise, they can just take it off and go without. The only thing that really influences whether they wear clothes or not is their sense of decency - and let’s be honest, they don’t have much of it… probably because Zeus barely has any himself. They can also wear regular clothes though, kind of like Cloudyseidon does when Penelope sews him those diva outfits.

I've got a question about the Cloudy seeds AU.. So.. We see the cloud bois with a light blue outline to tell they are the cloud boys. How exactly do they look to the other 'characters'? Do they just look like the actual ones? Do they look like the actual ones but also have little clouds to tell?? Like?? HOW DO THEY TELL IF THE CLOUD BOIS ARE REAL OR NOT OTHER THAN THEIR VOICES AND QUOTES!?

In the comic they’re easy to tell apart, because I draw them as white with a light blue outline, so they immediately read as “clouds”. But if you were to see them in reality, their color would be much harder to define. They’re extremely pale.

They don’t have a strong color of their own, it’s mostly a matter of light reflection. Depending on the lighting and the way light refracts on their surface, their appearance can trick. They look like a very faded version of the person they resemble: same shapes and features, but softer (I’d be tempted to say they’re a bit like ghosts, maybe...? but don’t picture them as transparent, because they’re not, lol).

Because of that, at a quick glance they can be surprisingly misleading and almost pass as real… until you look a little closer and realize something feels off. Unless you are Poseidon, and you are so panicked that you mistake the real Odysseus for your cloud lol

Ok so if the cloud people can’t communicate with other gods and people verbally, why don’t they use sign language?

Well, as far as I know, sign language wasn't exactly something existing yet, not like the modern one at least. Btw, Cloudysseus and Cloudyseidon aren't really interested in being understandable to others, they speak in their way and it's ok so to them. Ganymede instead tried to express himself as better as he can, but is not enough for rich conversations, of course. And actually, nobody exept Zeus or other clouds wants to have a conversation with him, so what's the point? :D

smb may have already asked, but why does cloudyseus say spicy all the time?? does it have smth to do with zeus being a freak geek?? (p.s. both of cloudyseus and cloud poseidon are adorableee 😚🥰)

Basically cloud folks aren't able to speak. They communicate in cloud's language which is only understandable for Zeus, and usually cloud language is silent, with no voice audible to others. So when Zeus made Cloudysseus tried to let them speak loudly but the best he could attempt was allow them only a few words. Cloudysseus can say: "Spicy, Dondon, Sashimi and hot, plus the jolly witch is Zuzu, referring to Zeus." Why he chose those words? Because Zeus is a jerk playful little brother! <3
