I've heard so much talk about "Day" Furies as a concept, and while most of the people I've seen use it as a term in reference to a white Night Fury, I got pretty curious as to what something like that would actually look like.
Few quick sketches of my ideas on it.
Anatomically, it's pretty much like a Night Fury, if not a little more complex and shark-like. It has a row of gill-like slits around its neck and shoulder regions that are capable of releasing a smoky white vapor. The gaseous substance wraps around the dragon as it is flying, helping it better blend in with the cloud layer.
Its skin color is (pretty evidently) pale in comparison to its Night Fury cousin. Instead of being a darker bluish-black, it has much lighter shades of blue and even white that help it slightly in terms of daytime invisibility. As only its underbelly and under-wings are visible during flight, these parts especially have a blotchy blue-white coloration.
This dragon is a little larger and a little slower than the Night Fury as well. Its fire comes in broad golden-white rays, sometimes fizzling at the base with vapor that masks the full intensity of its brightness. They have been known to engage in combat with each other high above the Earth, their fire like flares of sunlight.
Not the best design, really - but it was fun.
