Summary:
Cloud Master, or Chūka Taisen, as it's known in Japan, is a horizontal shoot 'em up featuring the literary character Sun Wukong, better known as the Monkey King and the deuteragonist of the Chinese novel Journey to the West. In the English localization of The game, the main character's name is changed to Mike Chen. Cloud Master was originally released in the Arcades by Taito in 1988. Of the home ports, the Master System version is the most well-known, due to it being the only version released in the West. The game also saw releases for the Famicom ( which was developed by Disco) and the PC Engine (where it was known as Gokuraku! Chuuka Taisen). A version of the arcade game with HD HUD and menu elements was released for Switch, Steam, and PlayStation 4 by UFO Interactive as Monkey King: Master of the Clouds. Cloud Master was granted a sequel 20 years later with The Monkey King: The Journey Begins.

Talia - Master of Clouds
Talia is a mysterious figure that first shows up at the Tournament of Elements
She's a peppy and almost magnetically likeable personality who somehow retains a fairly mellow and controlled demeanor
You definitely don't want to get on her bad side though, because she can litteraly give you a personal rain cloud to hover over your head
She also has a grumpy cat friend named Nimbus
Jay notices some strange things about her though...
The first time he saw her he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd seen her before
There was something about her that just felt... familiar
No one else seemed to share this notion though
Although she has a rather positive energy around everyone else, she gets strangely secluded around him - it's like she's avoiding him
She says her element was passed down from her mother, but no one seems to remember a cloud master participating in the serpentine wars, or even existing for that matter
She seems to have a pretty close relationship with Neuro, like they've known each other for a while before the Tournament
They sneak over to each other's rooms fairly often - you can sometimes hear yelling on the other side of their doors
What is she hiding?
