Hello, hope you are safe! Are there some paper textures for Medibang or FA? I want stuff like watercolor paper, or canvas, but seeking these out on Google is troublesome. You never know, if texture you found would suite your screen resolution, or your page settings, until you are done. I want something that just fits. Thanks for the answer!
Hello and thank you! There is a sand filter in Firealpaca and to get a more paper-y effect I usually combine it with Cloud filter from the same menu. You might get an easier result from Medibang Paint however.
Medibang Paint actually has several different paper filters in its “Custom Noise” filter window. Just access it from Filter>Custom Noise. There are three different ones and I think one looked a bit like a canvas. You can customize them to your liking, the transparency, the posterization etc, just try it out and if any of the three don’t suit your work, try out the other ones. I believe there should also be two Marker paper textures there.
Otherwise, you can also search for paper-like materials under the Cloud Materials tab (next to the Undo and Redo buttons, the little speechbubble icon) and you can add new ones from “Add from Cloud” (a cloud with a download arrow) - click on the “Tone” tab and there you can search for “texture” from the search bar for more noisy-looking textures or just go through the list. Not sure how many paper or canvas-like tone-materials they have but you will definitely find something interesting to add your work. I remember there is a cloth or fabric tecture among
The paper filters from “Custom Noise” are already a godsend though and I reccomend you try that one out first on Medibang Paint.
Hope these help Anon!
