After hearing of Chicago's proposed 'Cloud Tax' CA's Governor Jerry Brown suggests California adopt an altered version.
California Governor Jerry Brown is expected to announce his proposal on Sept. 31st. Inside sources say Gov. Brown and his advisors are working on a proposal to tax clouds a minimum of 10%. This proposal, if adopted would require all clouds passing over California air space to drop at least 10% of its water. The Governor says this will help to restore California’s depleted reservoirs by 2030. Opposition to Jerry’s plans include protests calling for the protection of cloud’s rights and concerns about potential violence against clouds.
