you get one of my favourite bird facts!! so, we all know birds are reptiles, right? bc birds are totally reptiles. and if you don't think birds are reptiles, then you must think crocodilians aren't reptiles either. observe:
for anyone who doesn't know how to read a phylogeny tree, what this basically shows is that birds (where it says wild turkey/chicken/zebra finch) have a more recent common ancestor with crocodilians (alligators, crocodiles, gharials, et al.), than turtles, who are also more closely related (split off from their shared ancestor more recently) to birds than lizards, geckos, snakes, etc. so either birds are reptiles, or crocodiles aren't. if you want to learn more abt this, you should def watch this vid by Clint's Reptiles (fantastic channel): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yC99nXth0I
