I love how every time one of the shrouded mountain sect are referring to Jin, they keep bumping his rank in the Cloudy Sword Sect. Originally they just called him a disciple of the CSS. Then they got the letter from him saying “stay out of my hills and also your young master was possessed by a demon so do better” and they were like “oh! Oh! We have been given a mission by an expert of the CSS!” And then they run afowl (pun intended) of Bi De, and go “oh no! We have upset the disciple of that Master of the CSS!” And then this most recent chapter has Elder Shenhe mentally referring to him as the “Benevolent Elder of the Cloudy Sword Sect”
Meanwhile, Jin hasn’t been part of the Cloudy Sword Sect in over two years and the actual elders of the CSS are on their way. I cannot fucking wait for that bomb to drop.
