lilly and that whole raiders group gave minnie major stockholm syndrome and it makes me so sad like ??

they made her show her loyalty by killing her own sister. for anybody, that would be a big no no and they’d leave.

she’d been poisoned with lies that being with the raiders was the best thing for her. she couldn’t act on her own accord without being reprimanded. she followed every order without fail, not wanting to disappoint.

even when the raiders were gone, minnie still fought for them. she didn’t stop and realise she was free and could finally go home. because she had this sick, psychological connection with the group. and seeing some of them die sparked something in her. because they were her friends. in a messed up type of way.

and it was so bad it drove her mad. she was so angry that she didn’t care if she be got bit because everything she lived for was ripped away from her. everything she was told was important is gone and she doesn’t know what to do. everything she had been fighting for has been destroyed, and she feels lost. like a child.

she knows she wants her brother but she refuses to leave him. even if it meant killing those she did once care about. even if it meant getting him killed so they could be together.

she was brainwashed to shit to believe that the raiders was the only way for her and her friends to survive. that delta was the ONLY WAY they will make it in the world.
