Where do i even begin. There is so much i love while reading this, i cannot recommend this enough. I love the way they write the conflict, the truth, the mystery unraveling. The way they drew an otherworldly being, the way people twist beliefs for their own reasons to justify their actions. I love the guilt that permeates the whole story, how 1000 years still haunts the present. I love how they convey love in every action they take. i love that despite seeing the same person, they're not seeing her. Lapis, Deitasterra. The age old question about the ship of theseus. It's a masterpiece. im saying a whole lot of nothing, but its something you have to read without spoilers imo. it ticks everything i love in a hopeful angst story.
i think that, in the midst of tragedy you cannot lose your emotions to apathy and despair. i dont care if their actions are "dumb" , it's so human to love until the end.
