WORLD’S TALLEST MASS TIMBER BUILDNG - 18 stories = 174 FT
After the prefabricated components were ready for assembly, the building was completed in 70 days. The structure is concealed behind drywall and concrete topping, mainly to comply with the accepted fire-safety codes and consequently speed up approval from building authorities.
HYBRID STRUCTURE: hybridized construction model with primary superstructure (columns and floor plates) are all constructed with timber; cores (stairs and elevators) are constructed with cast-in-place concrete; columns are glulam; walls are CLT panels.
