Baroccoco Set Default Replacement In Cluedo Woods + Completer Recolors

Imagine your creative sims took this granny’s sofa and completely DIY’d it like in those YouTube videos... That’s what I did here! 😅 

The Baroccoco set (sofa, loveseat and armchair) gets new Cluedo woods textures (these are by @shastakiss​) and new jacquard fabrics that keep that sturdy slightly old-fashioned look. I was too lazy with wood textures so you get plain wood everywhere and no shine on any texture. DIY style like I said 😄

There’s also one additional file in the folder which makes loveseat’s wooden part repositoried to the sofa (the fabric part was already repositoried by Maxis). It’s only needed for additional wooden colors to show up on the loveseat (for some reason straight recoloring of it didn’t work).

Plants Default Replacement - Part 2

Here’s part two of texture replacements for plants. This time I decided to cover most of outdoor ones. Part one is here.

Plants replaced (some names were shortened): Flower Barrel, Layers of Loveliness, Potted Perennials from Planter's Paradise, PSBs from Planter's Paradise, Ring-O-Posies, Synthetic Iron Trellis and The Decoy Trellis.

I also tried replacing Season’s preorder trellis’ flower textures but they didn’t look good at all because of the tiny flower space and I didn’t want to make the already 512x512 texture even bigger. So instead, I recommend you get @shastakiss​ Cluedo wood replacement + recolors here (at least the wooden part will be pretty).

I replaced most of pots too, but only Flower Barrel is an exception because nothing beats Shasta’s Cluedo woods texture for it (visible on previews, be sure to get it, it's not included). Textures for wooden parts of The Decoy Trellis and PSBs from Planter's Paradise are based on Shasta’s default replacement in pirate woods (originals can be found here) but use @goatskickin​ Heatland and Pilgrim woods from their Christmas Woods collection. For these plants I also did recolors in all Cluedo woods (they look a bit strange but these textures were so complicated they gave me a headache so I did my best here). Synthetic Iron Trellis uses one of @shastakiss​ metals -  rust. Other textures come from textures.com and various sites with free pngs. PSBs from Planter's Paradise also has additional flower recolors.

IMPORTANT:

By default, PSBs from Planter's Paradise is broken and displays only one flower texture in nh view. @simnopke​ was kind enough to look into it and was able to fix it. Be sure to get the fix here to be able to see all flower recolors for it in nh view. Thank you so much Nopke! 🤗

All plants have adjusted nh view textures.

I won’t include pictures of each flower, but you can follow the project’s progress here.

As always, all replacements and recolors are separated so you can pick and choose what you want.

Mission Collection Replacement in Cluedo Woods + Completer Recolors

This is a texture replacement of all Mission furniture found in game + extra completer recolors in Cluedo woods by @shastakiss​. Everything repositoried to it will get new textures too.

This replacement is entirely based on work by @witheredlilies​ and @shastakiss that originally came in pirate woods (all objects can be found in Yeti Chalet on Sims2Artists). I only swapped the wooden part, the fabrics were untouched and are the same as in the original replacement. So all credit and thanks go to Witheredlilies and Shastakiss! 💖

I’ve also included an optional file to get rid of shine on all furniture 😏 and recolors for @nixedsims​ Mission dresser (if you don’t have it and are not planning on getting (as it’s not included), just delete its folder).

Greenhouse Default Replacement

For the longest time I was using this default replacement by Slig (because of pirate wood texture) but that bright green and dark grey didn’t suit my taste.

And then suddenly it occured to me that I can make my own replacement. And I did.

I have a greenhouse in real life which has an aluminium base but my family always had them made of wood. So to me wooden greenhouses are kind of a standard :)

I used this PSD by @zerographic​ that I scaled up a bit, otherwise we wouldn’t see the beautiful texture details of Cluedo woods by @shastakiss that I used for this replacement. This PSD is so well made and so easy to use, it was a pleasure.

There are two versions of each color :

Green V2 and Metal V2 use textures from textures.com.

Dragging the roof will reflect the correct texture color (I opened up Slig’s file to see how they achieved this):

Greenhouses will also have a correct color in neighborhood view:

Everything is compressed and the swatch is included.

Remember to choose only one replacement for each texture!

Shiny Things Inc Grandiose Grill in Cluedo Woods (default replacement and recolor)

I always thought it was the ugliest object in the whole game. I hope I managed to make it look more decent...

This is a default replacement plus 1 additional recolor with blue wood.

Cluedo woods are by @shastakiss​. For this replacement I also used Liz’s texture from their Claybee Patio set as a base (they make cool recolors btw!). I then kept their texture for the lid, knobs and knobs panel because it was perrrrfect. Other textures are from textures.com.

Cozy Colonial End Table in Cluedo Woods (default replacement + recolors)

Yes, it’s called “end table” but in fact it is a coffee table.

Comes in all of @shastakiss​ Cluedo woods and has default replacement for textures and TXMT plus completer recolors.

Dynasty and Sun King Dressers in Cluedo Wood (default and/or recolors)

A quick default replacement and recolors because I couldn’t stand these dressers. They come in all of Cluedo woods by @shastakiss​.

I used white recolors by Michelle as a texturing base from these and these sets (highly recommend them!).

Everything repositoried to these two dressers will take these recolors just fine.

To avoid duplicate recolors, please CHOOSE ONLY ONE FOLDER - default replacement or recolors. Default replacement also has additional recolors in folder to complete the set so you’ll end up with all the colors anyway.
