Unwanted News. Bella and Renesmee.
Returning home from a day out with Jacob Black, Renesmee was starting to have to see things in a new light. She was beginning to slow in her aging the closer she reached to the physical age of seventeen and the chronological age of 8. As the grew closer to her final age, her human side was growing smaller as her taste for blood and her need for less sleep began to take over her ever changing mind and body. Even things with Jacob began to grow tense as Billy began growing ill from cancer and relying on his son for his care to keep him well enough day to day. Time spent away from Billy made Jacob grow anxious to which showed through when he was with Renesmee. And in this moment, just spending a few hours away from the house was causing Jacob to grow worrisome.
"I have to go anyways, Jake."
Renesmee spoke gently to him as they arrived back at his small home.
With a tight embrace, Renesmee departed, walking through the forest on her way back home. It was the short period of time the walk to and from La Push gave the hybrid that she cherished. Able to have her mind to herself - no worries of her father listening in. Able to enjoy the surroundings of nature and the animals in their natural environment. But this walk home, this usually shot trail felt strange. As if something to which was not normal was going to take place once she arrived home. That strange feeling caused Renesmee to take off in a light jog back to her grandparents home.
And her predictions were right.
The moment Renesmee walked through the front door, all 8 members of her family were seated in the living room, as if they were all awaiting her arrival. Lost and confused as to what was happening, she took a seat between her uncle Emmett and her grandmother. Eyes glued to each and every person within the room, waiting to find out what was going on.
The moment her father opened his lips, she felt her heart drop.
Renesmee looked at her mother and father with large and horrified eyes. The words they had just spoken to her were ones she had never wanted to hear, let alone come true. The Cullen's were moving from Forks to a new house, a new city, and a new state. Far away from Forks, and far away from La Push. As she stared at her mother and father with words unable to be spoken, anger began to flood her body. 16 pairs of golden eyes all upon the child who appeared 15 but was only the mere age of seven.
"What do you mean moving?"
Renesmee asked in a careful and confused tone to her voice.
