The days in this city went on quickly, despite Aveline’s lack of duties. She found herself quite busy with basic endeavors, such as buying food for herself. Such a simple chore, yet the realization hit her that this would be one of the first times she had to take care of herself in such a manner. She had been by herself before, but usually everywhere she stayed paying for her meal would be enough. It was quick and it held no ties, in case switching locations in a promptly manner was needed. It was fortunate that there was more money left of what she arrived with than expected, which hopefully would last a couple more weeks, giving her time to settle and maybe find a way to gain money.
Aveline walked out of the store, hands filled with bags that contained her groceries. Since she had bought a decently sized amount of food her vision was cover partially, and so she didn't notice the young girl on the way.
The Assassin was hard to miss among the crowd, not only her clothing gave her away in this particular place and time but she also had a decently sized build. Standing at 5’11”, she towered in contrast to most women, so after she accidentally collided with the girl there was not even a flinch but instead made the girl fall to the floor.
“Huh?” She looked down, confused at first since she had not noticed anyone around her yet immediately catching up at what had happened.
“Was it my fault? Forgive me.” Lowering the contents on one of her hands to the floor, she extended her hand at the stranger trying to help them up. “I did not see you around”
