I have a-not-so-hidden fascination with mythology and astrology, and as such I have The Element Encyclopedia of Birthdays, which I picked up from Barnes and Noble largely because of aforementioned fascination and because it was pretty. In it, not only is there a lot of in-depth analysis of the signs and such (apparently, Leos born between August 4 and 14 “love to travel and long to explore the world and other cultures”), but also a breakdown of every day of the year and a description of what people born on those days tend to be like.
August 8? The birthday of versatility. An excerpt:
“Their success, however, is the result of their sharp intellect and strong work ethic. It is also a result of their exceptional versatility and ability to learn new skills from scratch....They are versatile and will probably play many roles and sample many careers in their lives.”
And incredible, kind of hoax-y coincidence? Probably.
