Please help me pay to make my house livable.
I moved into my current place a few months back. Due to uncontrolled adhd, autism and yet to be diagnosed chronic illness, I haven't been able to unpack correctly, clean, sort out trash, do the dishes, etc.
Basically I'm living in a huge disgusting mess and I am unable to sort this out on my own. It's obviously a huge source of shame and stress.
I am in talks with a local cleaning and decluttering service to help me deal with the situation, and set things up so I can keep on top of things in the future. But I'm calculating it's gonna be around £100 at least.
This is something adult social services should theoretically help me with, but my social worker basically ghosted me at the beginning of the pandemic and it seems I've been abandoned by the system. I don't have the energy to fight them at the moment.
I haven't been able to work for months and my benefits barely cover the basics.
I fucking hate having to ask for help, but I guess I'd rather embarrass myself here and rely on the kindness of internet strangers than a government that basically seems to wants me dead.
