Finally. That was it. After approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes all his roommates had left the cell. Clyde embraced the silence, lying on his bed for a minute more than necessary before he got up again and moved towards his belongings to grab his notebook. It wasn’t long until spying eyes interrupted the process.
“Nu-uh. Stay away. I’m trying to embrace my loneliness”
Abbi was scrambling. Nothing new for her, but the reasons always fluctuated so at least she kept it fresh. Today it was to get to the Administration office, to talk to Jody or Zaki or someone, and try to figure out what she was going to now. She had wasted away her summer, no shock there either, but now it was reckoning time. She had to do something..or she may as well just leave.
“Oh don’t get your knickers in a twist. I just forgot something” she muttered.
