馬祖南竿機步連於110年3月18日8時50分駕駛CM-21裝甲運輸車行經中央大道靠近勝天公園路口前翻覆，王姓士官兵等5員後送連江縣署立醫院。 據了解戰甲車發生側滑至邊坡，該單位對甲車乘員王姓士兵等5員，部隊基於安全考輛，立即送連江縣署立醫院檢查並無大礙，已返回營區照常操課，戰甲車隨即進行搶修。
