Got my new mic the other day! A CM87 from Advanced Audio. Super excited to hear how it sounds. Gonna throw it on acoustic guitar tomorrow, and on an amp too if I get around to it! Pretty stoked.
3 polar patterns, a roll off switch, and a 10db pad. Pretty cool. Gonna save up for another one, and then we’ve got some stereo miking for piano and drum overheads good to go. Probably gonna use it for mono overheads for now and use my other condensors for hihat, and maybe snare bottom.
